Paper Abstract:
|
The main goal of this paper is to trace the relationships between emotional and descriptive aspects of assessments of users satisfaction as one of the usability aspect. The usability test was done on a system called Face Controller dedicated to severely disabled users with limbs impaired. Using Face Controller, one can operate a computer with head movements and facial expressions only. Thirty disabled participants took part in the research. The users satisfaction was measured by System Usability Score and Net Promoter Score and their emotional state three times during the testing procedure/system validation. It was found that respondents positive emotional balance is related to their high FC system evaluation. Thus, the sources of users satisfaction are not necessarily located on the side of the system itself, but on their initial emotional evaluations. |
